Astrophotography is a bit of a "love it or hate it "!

 

I first got interested when, by chance went on a night shoot with a friend. the expanse of the night sky was fascinating. Moving "objects", stars, trails, light pollution all became interesting.

With some planning and perverseness, you can get some very interesting results. 

 

A basic setup I would use for star shooting would be:

• Full Frame

• 14mm prime

• 30 second

• ISO 3200, 6400
